I discovered that my landlord has not paid taxes and assessments since Dec. 2008 on the property that I’ve rented for 2 years. My gut is telling me he’s going to foreclose and I’m trying to find out what my rights are as a renter. If the house does go into foreclosure, will I get my security deposit back? How long will I be able to stay in the property after I get notice of the foreclosure? I live in California. Any advice would greatly be appreciated!

I want to stay in good standing with my landlord, even though he’s not being honest with me about what’s going on. I don’t want anything to affect my ability to rent another property.

We have purchased plot near to Nairana Village, 2.5 KM from Railway station Jaipur & 1/2 KM from Naraina Village, Please advise if it will be profitable in future i.e 5 to 10 year.

I am renting a house with some friends. I live with the landlady. The dishwasher handle broke when I was trying to open the dishwasher last year. It was an accident. We have coped all year without a handle, it was annoying at first but we got used to it. I am moving out next week and now the landlady says she wants to take money out of my deposit to pay for the dishwasher handle. What would you do? Would you pay for it?
